Abstract

The increase in the number of homicides in Connecticut’s state capital is frightening, intimidating, and dangerous. Lawmakers, officers, departments, courts and civilians have been trying different ideas to decrease the rate of homicides. Crime has always been one of the top issues discussed in campaigns. The rate of violence keeps increasing, however, causing people feel as if there is no solution.
